Gorgeous vintage 1930s/1940s butter yellow silk taffeta maxi dress. Crisp with such a gorgeous sheen!! Supple and moves beautifully.

Fabric spaghetti straps. Sweetheart neckline ft. hand-embroidered floral eyelet w/pale green silk peeking through. Corseted bodice with boning inside & ruching/gathering down front. Basque waist. Low back. Flirty bustle/peplum at reverse.

Back zip/ hook and eye enclosure. Skirt is lined in free hanging ivory- feels like rayon satin.

Length armpit to hem 46”

Very small tear at skirt. Two tiny marks at back which have not been treated. Both are hidden in the drape of the skirt/unnoticeable when wearing. Part of lining has come undone from dress waist and could eventually use a couple stitches’ reinforcement. Overall dress is in great condition for its age -very sturdy and presents beautifully.
