Gorgeous classy Panetta dangle earrings, bridal earrings, dressy earrings. These clip on earrings are marked Panetta in two places. They are goldtone with rhinestones. The top part has a circle with an x of rhinestones. Then there are a row of rhinestones vertically, that ends with another gold circle. They are 1" from the earlobe down. The widest part is the bottom circle 1/3" wide. They are in excellent condition.

"Panetta - Panetta was started in November of 1945, by Beneditto Panetta, originally a "platinum jeweler" from Naples, Italy. When he came to the United States, he continued to work as a platinum jeweler in New York City. His two sons, Amadeo and Armand, were born in New York and were always involved with jewelry. After the war they started their own company. Their statement of work was "It had to look real or out it went!" ( 4 ).

Panetta is a very respected mark. Panetta was never cheap new. "If it didn't look 'real', it went back to the drawing board." ( 3 ) Panetta prided itself on copying the "fine" look with utmost detail. Panetta jewelry is not as plentiful in the secondary market because of limited production runs and high initial prices.
