This gown redesign was my vision of Belle that married the original 17th century Rococo time period when the original story was written by Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, the 90's Disney cartoon and the live action film that followed. The gown base was constructed from a metallic gold iridescent fabric lined in red satin. The neckline was cut square and trimmed with reclaimed lace. The belle sleeves were also constructed with a mix of and recycled fabrics. the circle patterns at the hem are sheer.

In the photoshoot images, the dress is shown with a hoop skirt which is not included with the costume garment.
