Very nice Whiting and Davis Co. gold mesh cocktail purse. Lovely piece with a deco style metal frame and the label dates this purse to the 1940s. Has a lovely silk brocade interior and the original tag. The frame is also marked and includes the #2862.

In good vintage condition overall, there is a line of black dots the run down on one side, looks like tarnish of some kind (see last photo). Other wise just minor signs of wear and age. Interior is very clean.

It is 7" wide at the base by 5" high w a 4. 5" drop
