With its timeless understated style, this classic gold lame vintage Evening Bag can be used either as a clutch or carried with the hide-away gold tone metal chain handle. It has an oval shaped bottom and a full front flap. The Purse measures approximately 9 inches long by 6 inches high. It is 1 inch deep at the bottom.

As you can see in the photos, the 32 inch gold tone metal hide-away style chain folds down easily into the handbag and out of sight when you want to use this bag as a clutch.

There is no logo, or at least none that I could find, anywhere in this vintage bag.

Gold lame is used for the exterior and there is a 1 inch gold tone metal and small rhinestone crown at the bottom of the front flap.

The interior is fully lined in a darker gold color fabric.

All of the fabric is in very good vintage condition and there are no odors, stains or rips.

This type of metallic is difficult to photograph due to any reflections, so it may actually appear to be silver on your screen. Be assured it is a bright gold color.

The front clasp still closes securely.

There is one inside pocket that is also lined. Inside that slide-in pocket I found the original small mirror that would have come with this bag.

The purse is considered to be in Very Good Condition because the only issues to report are very minor.
*** There are several of the very tiniest rhinestones missing in the crown accent.
*** There is one smudge on the outer flap, which is only visible in certain light.
**** The mirror shows signs of age, however I am including it for the vintage charm
Although these are minor issues, I mention them so you can look for them in the photos.

I have marked this bag accordingly lower in price.

Overall this remains in Very Good Vintage Condition that is quite remarkable considering the age of this bag. There are no stains, no tears, no odors, all of the stitching is intact, there is no rubbing evident on the corners, the metal chain is not tarnished and there is no stretching of the fabric.
