Vintage circa 1960 poison ring is plated gold with twenty small faux pearls. This one is adjustable and is currently a size 6, but could easily adjust up to a size 7. The top with the pearls measures 1.25 by 1 inch. Each little pearl sits in its own tiny compartment, so take care not to knock the ring when wearing it. The compartment is about .25 inch deep. It still opens and closes with ease. This ring was made by Avon and stamped on the back.
The hinge is still in good shape and functional. Keep in mind with any poison ring, the more you play with it, the more likely the top can come lose. If you must open and close it, do so with care and slowly. Also with any adjustable ring, only adjust once so as not to compromise the metal.
