Beautiful 1873 edition of Godey's Ladies Book and Magazine , a compilation of the years edition of this very popular Victorian women's magazine. Each edition included hand colored fold out fashion illustrations, music, stories & articles by noted writers of the day and patterns and diagrams for diy projects. Produced by Louis A. Godey out of Philadelphia who employed one of the first women edition, Sarah J. Hale.

This almost 150 year old edition is in fair condition for its age. They're definite signs of wear and age, including torn pages and missing pages, considerable wear to the spine. Still the majority of the pages are in good shape, very readable with some of the stunning fold out fashion pages in tack. Please see all photos!
