Material: It is a puckered stiff crisp fabric. It feels like wearing a paper dress, and the puckered texture gives it some stretch.

It is a unique dress in many ways: The fabric is gathered mid-way up the back. The pockets are only attached at the top, so they are very full, flippy, and fun. The hem is cut straight across in the front and back but not at the sides. Not a boring dress :)
