Fred Harvey Era Handwrought Navajo Yei Figure Sterling Silver and Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Earrings$62.00
DESCRIPTION: These circa late 1940s’ to early '50s' handwrought Navajo sterling earrings are examples of the Fred Harvey-era Geometrical souvenir sterling jewelry. These depict the Yei deities of the Navajos and feature traditional markings. Centered in each is a round Sleeping Beauty turquoise set in a sawtoothed bezel. Marked "Sterling" with no content indication (probably higher than 925). Screw backs.
SIZE: Measure approx. 1 1/4″ high x 7/16″ wide. Turquoise stones measure about 6 mm in the settings.
CONDITION: Excellent, with almost no tarnish or finish wear. The dimension remains in the decorative work, and the screw backs are straight and tight. Due to their handmade nature, they aren't perfect.
