The gown has fabric covered buttons that go from chest to just below the waist. Wear it as pluging, or, as high as you see fit.  The waist tie is fully adjustable and can be removed if desired.   There are also fabric covered buttons at each wrist to allow ease when slipped the dress on over your arms.
