This glorious dress is not without flaws but the great parts of it make up for any small flaws. It features those incredible bishop sleeves that balloon out and pull back in to a pleated cuff. It has orange, yellow and white flowers on a milk chocolate brown background. The dress is quite narrow and has bottom side box pleats for ease of movement. It has side snaps for closure along with the front bodice opening with snaps and finished with a high collar bow that ties. The belt finishes the dress off with a yellow early plastic deco design and the original fabric.Material: Cotton VoileDecade: 1930sBrand/Tags: Dress appears to be homemadeCondition: Good - fully wearable with care but multiple issues to note. Most notably is the seam stress at the shoulders, underarms that are small holes, hip seam stress, waistband seam stress that has been resewn so sturdy. There are a few small holes on the front skirt below the bodice shown in the images. There are two holes on one sleeve that get lost in the large amount of fabric. The pleats on the sides could have been sewn back up. There is one small place on the side hip where a few stitches have secured the fabric to the inner seam it appears. Shown with a slip but slip not included. This is clean and ready to wear.Measurements: (taken flat and doubled when needed) Bust - 36" (bust should be approximately a 32" for the appropriate bloused look)Waist - 29”Hip - 35” - this is the key measurement as it is so smallSweep - 40”Shoulders - 14. 5"Length - 47”Shoulder to Waist - 14. 5"Sleeve Inseam - 18”
