I am not sure if I ever had the original box for these, but I know I have had them for over 20 years. No tag, but I am pretty confident that were made in Japan, due to the materials and construction. They seem to be paper or foam birds, covered in gold glitter, with plastic eyes and beaks. They have beautiful foil feathers, and they swing very playfully through gold wire hoops decorated with more gold foil. There are 5. I see another seller has similar foil birds in the original packet, so I cannot see if there is a hoop or not, but that item has 4 birds for $40, so $10 per bird. These are in MINT condition, and perfect for a foil tree as they are extremely light, and better than that, they will never break! Each hoop is 3. 25 inches across, and each bird is about 4. 5 inches long. a thin gold string is used to attach to the tree, but you can easily add a hook, if needed. These were hard to photograph, but each bird swings freely through the hoops. Could be used for other occasions, too! Nice housewarming or Christmas gift.
