This is nice early Fire King Flat bottom shaving mug. It is noticeably heavier and thicker than a standard d-handle mug and also slightly taller. I've included a photo of it next to a regular D handle mug and you can see the difference. It also has an early block print "Oven" Fire-King Mark, dating it to the early 40s.

In good vintage condition overall, one tiny chip at the base (see last photo) and some small marks and other normal signs of wear and age.
