This is a vintage (1910 - 1930) filigree bib or festoon style necklace. It's very ornate with extremely intricate filigree designs all around it. I'm really not sure how else to describe it, the necklace is a very striking piece. It is in very good wearable, used, "vintage" condition. It was found in my grandmother's estate in 2000, and not known if it was hers or her mother's (my great grandmother).
