Dowry style bag probably from Banjara tribal people of Rajasthan, India

And perhaps modified by a more recent person. Amazing handwork!

Rust colored cotton with geometric embroidery / Twisted knotted string shoulder strap / Original jingling cowrie shells, copius glass beadwork pendants / Unique and rare piece / Inside has a flap pocket

Very good pre-owned condition - One small area of stain on the back fabric, string handle is weak

Top triangular flap measures 15 x 10 inches

Crude knotted strap adds another 16 inches
