Classic early 1960's in style, this unsigned, well made brooch has a spray of faux white pearls at the tips of the fan shape. It is open work metal so whatever color you wear under this will become part of the design. The shiny gold, plus the white faux pearls, make this a natural for either a day or evening accessory choice.

Quite well made, be sure to note the details that make the difference here. Very tiny hearts line the spines of the fan.

Because this is such a traditional design, it is harder to date the era it was made. I am guessing it is from the early 1960's because the metal and the backing are so similar to other brooches from that time period. As can be seen in the photos, even the metal work on the backside is etched with a linear design.

It measures approximately 2 inches long by 2 inches wide at the widest points.

It is in Very Good Vintage Condition, as you can see in the detail photos. The lack of any designer logo is the only issue.

The rolling "C" back clasp works well and there are no signs of age or wear on the brooch or the rear portion. All of the faux white pearls are intact and unscratched.
