Camphor glass is here at its frosty, translucent best. A clear jewel means your heart is open ... This one has a wonderful art deco/nouveau design, with lines snaking across the glass and moving into filigree shoulders. By the venerable Esemco jewelry company of New Jersey. The mark inside the band is the one they were using around 1934.
The metal is 14K gold; the glass is glass, obviously. I do not know if the sparkler in the middle of the top is really a diamond, as you would expect of 14K gold. It might just be a crystal.
The face is almost an inch long, north to south.
I can't find any flaws to note, but there may be a little something. I do my best to describe fully. This is a gorgeous piece. SO much wonderful detail.
From a nonsmoking, pet-loving home.
