Very nice enameled over copper kidney shaped dish by Sascha Brastoff. The abstract grape design has a slight 3D effect and in green with splashes of orange & gold. Truly a lovely piece by this well known Los Angeles based artist with a studio on Olympic Blvd (see last photo). His work was known to be collected by many Hollowood stars including Joan Crawford, Donna Reed and Zsa Zsa Gabor.

In good vintage condition with signs of age and wear including a few small nicks on the edge, one larger one is covered with paint and I assume is a factory flaw. Signed on the front Sasha B, circa 1960s.
