Stunning white Edwardian dress circa 1900s to 1910s. Cotton just dripping in lace. Lightly pigeon front bust, high lacey neck, with tiny delicate buttons up the back. Half to maybe 3/4 sleeves, some French seams, and have I mentioned the lace everywhere?
Excellent vintage condition. Very wearable though with respect of course, and a little TLC would not go amiss either. There are a few small holes, the largest maybe dime sized, and some areas where the material could do with some reinforcing. And I did see some seams that could do with a few stitches. See photos for examples. The lace all seems sound, and I did not spot any stains.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust and waist.
Armpit to armpit across bust: 36"
Waist: 24.5" with some room to move the hook and eye a little. There is also a little seam to let out.
Hip: free to about 64"
Shoulder to waist: 14"
Shoulder to bottom hem: 49"
