This is a rare summer overdress from the early 1900s. The Edwardian dress is made of cotton decorated with broderie anglaise. The dress includes a variety of lace trims. The beautiful bodice has a high collar, half sleeves, and a monobosom silhouette. The s-curve dress buttons a center back. The Gilded Age dress has various small areas of material loss and various areas of discoloration (see photos). The bust is 34 inches. The waist is 24 inches. The skirt length, measured from the front waistline to the hemline, is 41 inches.
