Edwardian/Victorian Iron Smelting Pot

This small black iron smelting pot is likely from as early as the 1800s, but I have listed it as a 1910s - 20s era pot to be on the safe side. Made of heavy black iron, this small pot was used in any number of professions, including Smithing, printing, and bullet making. Used to melt down lead to later mold into specific shapes, like lead lettering on a manual printing press, or iron work used in architecture.
