The color is off in pictures it is getting gloomy in the PNW so the lighting was not right. It is a brown almost true light chocolate with dark brown almost black fur trim and beige roping.

This is part of my personal collection that I purchased when I was in Barcelona in the early 80's. I purchased at an antique shop there and have worn it maybe a half dozen times but out grew it with age but could not part with it. At sixty something I know I will never wear again and decided to pass along.
I am torn on if this is a true 1800's or a well made possibly for an old film. It feels like suede but not sure and the fur feels real but again just not sure. I do know the hat has been embellished by me decades ago in order to keep on my head I added a hair comb and some antique lace
The coat is very heavy and incredibly well made. The buttons are a molded type very accurate for the era. The liner is a damask satin.
There is no damage to the coat except a bit of staining on the inner liner at the train which may come out if you have pro cleaned with non chemical fur or leather cleaning and there is a bit of crunchy dirt on the actual leather in same area which would probably come out with the cleaning also. The train did fall behind me when I wore it as it should so expected some light dirt.
Other than that there is nothing to note. No holes or repairs or material rot. Its basically perfect.
The measurements for the coat are taken outer and from seam to seam flat back. The bust, waist need to be doubled for fit and there are pleats in front so bust is a bit more than pit to pit. It just swallowed my tall but slender mannequin so it is a larger size.
