This is just a stunning Edwardian era nightgown. The gown is made of a light weight white cotton with such lovely lace details. It has a high collar that has two ribbons running through the lace to tie the neck closed. The the center top of the gown is made of lace striped with embroidered panels that have gorgeous snowflake esque flowers with eyelet details inside. The gown is very high empire waisted and just a stunning style that is very romantic. It has another ribbon that runs across the bust and ties at the center. There are also buttons that run down the center front to fasten it closed. It has wonderful poet sleeves that can be tightened at the wrist with ribbon. The cuffs are fun frilly cuffs that are made of the same mix as the top. There are also little lacy ruffles over top of the sleeves too. The gown hangs loose from the waist line and falls to the floor with a little flounce at the hem. In the back there is a lot of volume reminiscent of a sack back gown of the 1700s, but it's just gathered in a slight point around the waist line. There is also a wonderful little train that really adds such a fun flare of drama to the gown. The gown has the original cream ribbons and they are in good condition, but for a pop of color I have included red rayon velvet ribbons to change in or out as desired.

Condition:
The gown is in great condition with only one little stain on the skirt of the gown that is hard to see and gets lost in the volume of the skirt. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
