This is a wonderful white linen Edwardian dress set. It is a separate shirtwaist that has a high collar of Battenburg lace; there are also 4 stripes of the lace that run through the center of the shirt. There are also a lot of little pintucks around the neckline of the shirt. It has long sleeves that are so wonderfully full and are densely gathered at the shoulders. The puff of the sleeve ends just after the elbow and is very iconic of the style of that era. The cuffs are also made of the Battenburg lace and fasten with hooks and eyes. The shirt falls to the hips and is full in the front so it can be tucked in and bunched at the to give it that pigeon-breasted silhouette. The shirt buttons up the back with hidden shell buttons and hooks and eyes at the collar. There are also three eyes on the waistline that would have fastened to the skirt and would help keep the skirt and shirt together and tucked in well. The only thing is that there are no hooks on the skirt that match the loops and I did not see any trace of them being on the skirt. They can easily be added on if you would like.
The skirt is a wonderful A-line shape with fun pintucks all along the top adding volume to the hem of the skirt. Along the hem of the skirt there is matching Battenburg lace and large pintucks. There is the slightest train in the back that adds just the right amount of drama. The skirt fastens up the back with hooks and eyes down the center of the back.

Condition:
The dress is in great condition overall with no flaws to note. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

Sizing
The waist is also tiny but it has two hooks and eyes that overlap to fasten it. You could change it alter it to one instead of overlapping to give the skirt 1.5" more room
