This is a lovely white cotton Edwardian-era shirtwaist. The shirt has a high neck with wide shoulders and pin tucking at the edge and wonderful puffed sleeves that slim down at the cuffs in a faint leg of mutton style. The front of the blouse is full in the pigeon-breasted silhouette and has a tie that wraps around from the back to tie in the front to gather down the extra volume in the front to the desired puff. The bodice is not too simple overall. It features lovely and fun embroidery in a floral motif that has nice puffy volume to it. The bodice fastens up the back with shell buttons that are all hidden except the one at the waist. There are also pin-tucking details on each side of the placket.

Condition:
The shirt is in great condition with one small repair under the left arm. It is small and hard to see and does not affect the wearability of the lovely shirtwaist. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
