Gorgeous ivory kid leather gloves from I'd say the earlier half of the 1900s. Opera length. Make sure you look at close up of the snaps, they are exquisitely charming. Each has 3 of said snaps at the wrist that are some sort of early plastic, perhaps celluloid. The snaps have a floral pattern stamped in them. The insides of both of these have several rows of numbers written in them. I've absolutely no idea what they are for as they are not original to the gloves. Perhaps a previous owner had something they needed to remember and marked it inside these? I don't know, but they don't show when worn of course, and to me add to the charming vintage history of these. Stamped on one snap with Charlon, not sure if this is the glove maker or the snap maker. Either way its most likely French and I do believe these are from France.

Excellent vintage condition. The snaps on one hand have some chips in the decorative portions. They still snaps just fine though. There are some very minor marks.

Measures approx. 16" from tip of middle finger to end of cuff. Base of thumb ( at wrist) to thumb end is 4. 5". Base of middle finger to finger end is 2. 75".
