Professional construction the dress is done in a feather lightweight cotton voile in a gorgeous shade of indigo blue and featuring a white checkered and swirl print. The dress has a netted mesh, sleeveless underpinning to the bodice with some internal snaps. The exterior of the dress features a ruffled bodice that matches the slight flare of the sleeves. The dress fastens with snaps at the bottom of the bodice and around the front of the waist. There is a matching sash belt that also snaps into place as well as a ruffled apron around the hips. The skirt is columnar and calf length.

Condition for this piece is listed as good, 100% wearable with some cosmetic notations. The interior underpinning has some damage and discoloration to the mesh, this does not present when the dress is worn. There is an area of period repairs noted at the back of the right shoulder - this can be seen in the photos provided. I also note a few other period repairs, another of which is on the right sleeve and can also be seen in the photos. The dress has been gently laundered and is free from any odors or overt stains. There are some areas of mild discoloration - further treatment of these areas may yield improvement, however in an effort to ensure the integrity of the fabric and the garment I have left these as is. Overall presentation is gorgeous and again, the dress is absolutely wearable and adorable in its current state.
