Professional construction for The Bon Ton Minneapolis label found at the interior lining. This romantic beauty is done in a unique dark, warm brown straw featuring a medium profile crown decorated in sage green and pink millinery flowers.

The interior of the hat is fully lined in a black mercerized cotton. The crown of the hat is trimmed a sage green ribbon with small bow at the rear. The front features sage green velvet flowers, dusty rose pink milliner flowers and brown and green foliage. The hat also comes with two original purple glass hat pins. The intended fit is as shown, at the back top crown of the head.

Condition is listed as good plus. The hat itself is excellent, structurally sound and intact. The ribbon trim shows some tatters and shattering. The millinery flowers all show their 100 year age, with some "berries" have lost their silk covering and some general mussing. Presentation is still exquisite with a wonderful bit of age that only adds to the romantic whimsy.
