Unbelievable cotton Edwardian lawn dress with lace and floral details. The bodice is double layered- the over layer covered in pink flowers and leaf embroidery. There is a center deep hand made lace V bordered on either side with pink buttons. The underlayer contains the sleeves- edged in lace and three pink buttons at the top seam. The skirt has a really interesting short asymmetrical overlay with embroidered details. The skirt is a maxi length and has the same scalloped edge and embroidery throughout. Center back button closure. Very excellent condition with one small hole hear the back buttons and two faint marks on the lower front skirt- see photograph.
