This is a unique find, an antique "collar" purse or round box purse. Mad with a mix of fabrics around a round box and a drawstring closure. The flower detail is pinned on through the inside. I think this would have been something a young lady from the middle class or working class would have carried for church or parties. Upper class ladies would have had mesh or leather bags during this time. Could have even been hand made.

It is in good over all conditioner for its age, there are some stains, I believe from age and probably poor storage conditions.
