This is a darling antique Edwardian-era white linen shift/chemise. It has a scoop neckline with a lace yoke that is trimmed in a sweet little ruffle. The ruffle also trims the placket that runs down to the waistline and fastens with shell buttons. It has fun little dress protectors style sleeves and are meant to protect the armpit of the dress. On the right side of the placket, there are the original owner's initials A.R.G, in pen. The skirt is simple and hangs loose till past the knees with pretty little pintucks at the hem with a flounce adorned with lace trim.

Condition:
The shift is in great condition with no flaws to note. It has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

Size:
A note on antique shifts. They are meant to be quite loose fitting and the most size restrictive areas are the armholes. Please look at that measurement to make sure it will fit.
