D'ri and I by Irving Bacheller Beautiful Antique Edwardian 1901 Edition Illustrated by F. C. Yohn Gold Embossed Spine$24.00
Beautiful Edwardian edition of D'ri and I by Irving Bacheller printed in 1901 and beautifully illustrated by Frederick Coffay Yohn. Iluced two color plates done in red and white. Cloth binding with typed embossed in gold and gold edged on the top. An intriguing description on the title page reads: A Tale of Daring Deeds in the Second War with the British. Being the Memoirs of Colonel Ramon Bell. USA.
It is in fair overall antique condition, with some water damage throughout mostly on the bottom edges. The books pages are oddly uneven, a factory flaw and as mentioned, the top of the pages are edged in gold but only the top. Some other signs of wear and age. The spine looks great and would make for lovely shelf decor and despite the ware damage the text remains quite readable.
