Designed by Nancy J. Smith and Lynda S. Mulligan for Dream Spinners this vintage pattern #161 is for a semi-fitted unisex style vest. There are instructions for plain vests and embellished vests in sizes ranging from 6 to 20. Several of the pattern pieces have been cut at the largest size. All pieces are included along with the detailed instructions. It is in the original envelope.

According to the package description "This is a multi-size pattern for a semi-fitted vest with optional front darts featuring a new construction technique for finishing. The back features a style line to match the front and a sewn in belt. 5/8 inch seams are included in the major pattern pieces. This pattern is suitable for all types of embellishments and may be made reversible."

Condition: This pattern has several pieces that have been cut and refolded but it is still complete. The pattern pieces remain neatly folded and all pieces and instructions are fully accounted for.

Overall this Dream Spinners pattern #161 for The Best Vest is in Very Good vintage condition.

It is in its original paper envelope. I removed pieces from the envelope for these photos and then replaced everything as I found it. All parts of the pattern and the instruction sheet appear to be intact.
