19th century Victorian era double strand amber necklace with rough cut faceted beads.

It is choker length and has an ornate gold filled clasp.

The amber beads are varying in hue and opacity, some being a golden color while others are more cherry toned. It is a gorgeous range of colors.

Overall wonderful antique condition with some wear to the beads. Amber is very soft (as far as gemstones go) and over the years the beads have taken some scratches and dings.

Amber also naturally has imperfections, inclusions, and crazing, which can be seen when viewed in the light. This does not detract from the value or beauty of this piece.
