Large book of over 150 pages of a history of Edgar Degas works, L'opera completa di Degas, mainly written in Italian. In the back, works are broken in to type category such as ballerina, horses, nudes, people, landscape. He also cast bronze sculpture and there is a section of his work.

A beautiful study of Degas complete works. Large color photo pages are a nice weight and glossy. Most all text is written in Italian. There is a section in the back showing his works in black and white. Many landscape, ballet, opera, flowers, horses, and life at that time in the mid 1800's to the early 1900's. Over half of his works were of the ballet. He was french and one of the founders of Impressionism but he preferred to define it as Realism. His originals are found in the best of museums all over the world.

The book includes a timeline of his work and many photos of the artist himself. A history of his work.
