The color of the glaze on this pitcher paired with the graphic style of it made it impossible for me to leave behind.. it is stunning! That it was made in Germany surprised me at first (I really thought it'd be Italian), but once I realized that it was made by Waechtersbach it made sense. Known for their bright glazes and strong forms, this is a great example of post modern German pottery. I also like that the pitcher itself doesn't weigh a ton empty, so when you fill it you can actually still lift it!

Excellent condition. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. I have gone ahead and hand washed and dried it in preparation for its' next stop in life... this gorgeous pitcher is ready to get to work as a pitcher or a super striking vase.
