For a center accent I added five clear rhinestones to emphasize the Downton Abbey or Great Gatsby inspiration.

It is a simple but lovely accessory ready for you to slide on just like a headband. When you wear it on your forehead the end pieces fit nicely right above your ears.

For the base I used a pre-made curved headband.

In the center I added the layers of feathers, plus the rhinestones.

You don't need to wait for a roaring 20's Flapper Gatsby style party to wear this. It would be a lovely accessory for going out to dinner worn with a simple Summer dress.

In size, this feather portion is approximately 10 inches across and 4 inches tall. The headband itself is just over 2 inches wide in the center and narrows to 1/2 inch at the tips. Because the feathers are fluffy it doesn't seem at all bulky despite the overall size.
