Deadstock 70s Shirt Long Sleeves Blue Ombre Red Buttons and Topstitching$36.00
This adorable deadstock 70’s shirt is just enough tomboy and just enough not! Styled with a slightly exaggerated collar, tapered long sleeves, and rounded side slits, the shirt closes in the front with 7 red half-ball, plastic shanked buttons. The red top-stitching on the collar, yokes and edges adds a nice detail; and the embroidered cherry appliques make for the shirt’s “girly-tomboy” look.
One of the 100+ dead stock pieces I recently purchased from the daughter of the owner of Antonio’s Boutique, a shop that was located in Vernon, CT (USA) that closed in the late 70’s. According to his daughter, Antonio not only designed and manufactured many of the items for his boutique, but also worked at one time for American designer, Liz Claiborne. This is one of his designs.
