Vintage 1952 Royal Doulton Old Charley Small Character Jug/Creamer. #D5527. Made in England. Measures approximately 3.25" high. As with all hand-painted items, you can some areas where the brushstrokes might be a bit lighter or a bit heavier; please carefully examine the photos to see. Old Charley is spelled out on the bottom back. In excellent vintage condition; I noticed two small areas that are rough to the touch, one on the side of the handle (photo 11), the other on the the top back edge of the jug (photo 12). This last area looks like it was caused by a few tiny scratches.
