Coro
Coro 60s Long Beaded Necklace Milk Glass and Venetian Wedding Cake Beads$55.00
DESCRIPTION: Unusual Coro necklace, ca. 1960s. This is a single strand, about 62" long and not the multi-strand beaded style you see so often from Coro. The white beads are milk glass, the red are plastic, and the large beads are Venetian wedding-cake beads. (Speaking of weddings, this would make a great bridal necklace.) The Venetian beads have filigree end caps. The length lets you wear it in a variety of ways, from a four-strand choker to a single-strand "flapper" style. Fastens with a fold-over clasp.
SIZE: About 62' from end to end, including clasp. White and red beads are between 6 and 7 mm; the wedding-cake beads are from 12 to 14 mm (not uniform due to being hand-made).
CONDITION: Excellent. All of the silver-tone findings are bright and untarnished. I replaced a twisted jump ring on the clasp, but you can't tell it's not original.
