During the 1940's and '50's, there was a long-running, successful advertising campaign where the tag line was,"I dreamed I went shopping in my Seamprufe slip!" And, there were variations like, "I dreamed I went shopping in my Maidenform bra!" Seamprufe and Maidenform print ads depicted glamorous young women doing just about anything imaginable in their skivvies. Seriously! Ads like this would never appear today, but it's true, this slip is just too pretty to hide!
