Offering a from 1987 Coach Large Swinger shoulder bag, style 4040 of the Lightweights Collection, made in USA of a hard to find color Taupe leather with the nautical type brass hardware.

This is the larger size of the Swingers that measures according to the Coach catalog 12 x 8. 25 x 3. 5 inches and the strap is 38 inches long, so it is not long enough for crossbody.

Not structured and very light, soft leather, same look front and back. Closes on top with a zipper ending in a leather pull. Inside is not lined and has an open pocket. It comes with the original one sided hang tag.

The condition is very good for age and color, but not pristine. It has no worn edges or strap, no pen marks, no musty odors. Inside is clean with no pen marks or ink spots. There are some bluish marks on one side, more or less visible depending on lighting, also the leather has been rubbed with use/hardware in some areas so the color is a bit different and the ring of the zipper lost the brass coating, details shown on the last pictures.
