This is a gorgeous hat! "An Original by Cathay Of California" is in the inside label. A stunning chartreuse color, the 2nd and 3rd photo show the color most accurately. This cloche style has been given a sculptured shape with indented areas sewn into place on the inside. Then finished with a trio color band. I believe the fabric is brushed wool felt, very soft. I think it dates to the 30s or 40s just based on the style.

Measures approx: 22" around inside band (this may sound small but keeps it from falling too far forward and 7" from brim to top

I would say the size is woman's a medium to large
