Vintage Ceil Chapman black silk velvet dress, or evening gown, circa late 1960s, scoop neck covered in silver glitter clusters that sparkle, a silver sequin empire waist and long sleeves, also trimmed in sequins. A center back zipper; fully lined. There are no missing sequins or clusters. The dress presents beautifully, as if it were worn only once, if at all. A beautiful formal dress from an iconic designer.
