Perfect for St. Patrick's Day or any day you want to wear green, here is the blouse for you. Featuring an overall colorful green, teal and yellow abstract print on a lightweight silk, this vintage Carlisle short sleeve blouse was Made in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong. That very term dates this blouse to sometime before July 1997 when Hong Kong reverted from British back to rule. Because it has shoulder pads, I am dating it from the 1980's or very early 1990's.

A label identifies it as size 8, however please use these measurements to assure your perfect fit.
Shoulder to shoulder is 16 inches.
Arm hole opening is 21 and 1/2 inches.
Sleeve length is 8 inches, with the under arm length at 1 and 3/4 inches.
Bust size is 40 and 1/2 inches.
Full length is 26 inches.
Hemline width is 42 inches.

Front buttons and a V-neckline complete and their is a traditional fold-down collar. There are lightweight shoulder pads, which you could easily remove for a more natural shoulder line.

The fabric is 100% Silk. It is a very lightweight silk as you may be able to tell in the pictures.

With the modified box style, this blouse can be worn fully buttoned, partially buttoned or completely unbuttoned as a cover up for a camisole, tee or coordinating blouse or dress.

As you can see from the various views shown, this vintage Carlisle silk print blouse is in Excellent Vintage Condition and the colors are so cheerful they will keep you happy all day.

There are no stains, odors, holes or unraveling and the neckline and underarms are clean.
