Hot pink, versatile and such fun to wear, this floral lace tank top camisole and elastic waist tap pants still has its original paper hang tag. The style name is shown as "Caress". Made by Shadowline, in the USA, it is all nylon. This versatile set can be worn either as a camisole and panty for daytime lingerie or as a sleep set with a tank top and short pants.

Tags identify it as a size Small, however please refer to the exact measurements to determine if this will fit you as sizing has changed over the years.

For the camisole:
Bust ~~~ 34 and 1/2 inches

For the tap pants:
Waist ~~~ 26 to 36 inches

Note also the scalloped edge narrow lace trim on the armholes, scoop neckline and the hems of both the gently curved bottom camisole and the tap pants.

The fabric label reads "Shadowline, All Nylon, Small, Made in USA" and shows that this is washable and can be tumbled dry.

In Mint Never Worn Vintage condition, it was only worn briefly for this photo session and the model wore a beige bodysuit underneath it.

I do not find any snags in the nylon. All the seams are intact and there are no stains, holes, odors or other issues to report.

Shadowline was a lingerie company, located in Morganton, North Carolina. It was founded in 1946 by Sherrod Salsbury, Jr. The company had the reputation of producing lingerie of very high quality.

This was an original Salesroom sample, meant to be displayed in a Shadowline showroom. That is where department store and boutique lingerie buyers would come to see what was available to order. The salesroom is where they could buy merchandise in bulk for a future season.
