This is a cameo brooch hand carved from shell. It is likely a Giovanni Apa piece from Italy, but I could not completely verify that detail. It is in excellent, used condition. This was a piece found with my grandmothers estate when she died in 2000 at the age of 90. I believe it belonged to her mother, whos husband (my great grandfather) was in WWII. This piece is wearable, and will make any collector proud to display it!
