Marcello Fantoni
Brutalist Pair of Ceramic Plaques Fantoni Pottery

An extremely rare set of beautiful Mid Century plaques by Italian artist Marcello Fantoni, whose distinctive style made him a popular MCM artist. These two stunners are of a man and woman, the man in a wheat field and the woman by a tree. Beautiful colors and details, these would be from the 1960s. Both are signed on the back with his distinctive signature.

Both are in good condition overall, the man plaque has a few nicks, one on the front and another on one corner. Also there is crack on the back but it does not look deep. The woman is in very good shape with just minor signs of wear and age.

Measures approximately : 8 x 5 each
