Sports Coat Details:
This sports coat is a single-breasted man’s wool from the 1960s and features a check plaid pattern. The front features front flap pockets with a top chest pocket along with two interior jacket pockets. This is partially lined. The size is a 42. The fabric is a slightly textured wool weave with blue, green, yellow fibers mixed with some other hues. The close up of the fiber shows the details.
The coat has three main buttons It was originally sold at George Wright in Huntington, West Virginia. Inside the inner pocket is a union label that dates this into the 1960s along with the shape of the lapels and cut.

Condition:
This is in very good condition. There are a few small moth nibbles. I darned a couple of spots on the right front arm sleeve. This is shown in the picture showing the areas of damage. The top is a close up and below is what it looks like further back. There is a small moth nibble at the top shoulder seam. There are a few small ones on the back but are difficult to see as the fabric is textured and hides it well. I only could see these when I hold the jacket up to light to shine through.
