This signed vintage Sarah Coventry brooch in the shape of a Sea Anemone is unusual for several reasons. It has a mix of textures with shiny and patterned gold-tone metal it is a domed open pattern (so that the color of what you are wearing will show) and it is a free-form sea creature in a design meant to look like a Sea Anemone.

The Sea Anemone is considered to be the flower of the sea and in this brooch it certainly has a floral-like shape.

As you can see in the photos this brooch is medium sized (at an irregular 2 inches in diameter at the largest points). From the base there is a rise of approximately 1/3 inch in the center.

The gold-tone metal is in Good Vintage condition. The pin on the back clasp is in perfect working order and has not been bent.

The brooch is marked on the reverse with the name SarCoventry logo and a copyright symbol.
